Qualified Plastic Injection Designer/EngineerA fantastic privately owned company, with 35 years in business in the Eugene, OR area, is seeking a Qualified Plastic Injection Designer/Engineer to join their team.This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing company that values innovation, teamwork, and continuous improvement.Core Attributes Required4+ years mold/tool maker experienced and demonstrated ability to build, repair and troubleshoot injection moldsHigh-cavitation mold experience and familiarity with complex, multi-cavity production toolingCAD model building expertise and strong SolidWorks capability with complex assembliesFull mold layout design of gating, cooling, venting, and ejection systemsHDPE molding experience and understanding of flow behavior, shrink, cooling, and high-volume production needsDFM, GD&T analysis and ability to design for manufacturability and precisionModular tooling architecture experience with common mold bases, standardized inserts, interchangeable cavitiesTooling reuse strategies for designing scalability and asset utilizationMasterCAM experience - daily use for machining and toolpath creationMust be eligible to work in the United States without restriction and without the need for current or future sponsorship.
