Job Title

Respiratory Therapist – Respiratory/Neuro Diagnostics

Charlottesville, VA

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Days (3x12 Hours, 7:00–19:00) | 36 or 48 hours per week available | Every other weekend, every other holiday

Key Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy services within a children's hospital setting, including NICU and PICU environments
• Deliver age-appropriate respiratory care to pediatric and neonatal patients
• Participate in a self-scheduling model as coordinated by unit management
• Float within scope of practice to other units as needed
• Complete specialty-specific orientation modules as required by the facility

Required Qualifications

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required
• Minimum Level 4 NICU experience required
• Active Virginia state license required (pending license accepted provided a temporary license can be obtained before start date; must hold another state license to be eligible for a temporary license)
• Epic EMR experience required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Adult Critical Care Specialist (ACCS) certification preferred
• Cardiac PICU experience preferred
