The TL;DR Role: Early Career Type: Full-time, Monday through Friday 8:00 AM–5:00 PM Location: In‑person, Clearwater, FL Pay: $55000–$60000 yearly Team: Growing accounting team Mission: To support daily transactional accounting, perform reconciliations, and assist with financial close processes, contributing to accurate financial reporting while developing core accounting skills. Tech Stack: Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, ERP systems (exposure) What You’ll Actually Do Support: Provide comprehensive support for day‑to‑day Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable activities, ensuring smooth transactional flow. Process: Accurately record and process all vendor invoices and incoming customer payments, maintaining financial records. Reconcile: Perform thorough monthly account reconciliations to verify balances and identify discrepancies. Assist: Lend support to the month‑end and year‑end close processes, contributing to timely financial reporting. Prepare: Develop and prepare various journal entries, accruals, and intercompany transactions, ensuring compliance and accuracy. Collaborate: Partner with internal teams to support accurate financial reporting and facilitate broader accounting processes. The Must-Haves Background: Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; candidates with a Finance degree and an Accounting minor may also be considered. A fundamental understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) is essential for this role. Experience: This is an early‑career opportunity, with no prior professional accounting experience strictly required.
