Support the learning and development of high school students as an experienced paraprofessional in a rewarding contract role. This opportunity offers a full-time schedule throughout the 2026-2027 academic year, providing plenty of time to build meaningful connections and contribute to positive educational outcomes.

Key Qualifications and Experience:

• Previous experience as a paraprofessional or in a similar school support role
• Comfortable working with high school-age students, including those with varied learning needs
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, able to take initiative within a team environment
• Reliable, patient, and adaptable with a passion for supporting learners
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and follow educational protocols

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with teachers and support staff to implement individualized and group instruction
• Assist students in classroom activities, ensuring understanding and engagement
• Support the development of social and academic skills, encouraging student independence
• Adapt materials and reinforcement strategies as directed by educators
• Foster a safe, welcoming, and positive learning environment for all students
• Document student progress and communicate observations with teaching staff

This contract runs from August 2026 through June 2027, Monday-Friday, with hours ranging from 32 to 37.5 per week. The assignment is specifically focused on a high school caseload, giving you the chance to play a pivotal role in students’ educational journeys.
