Sr. Lead Product Manager - Zelle Commerce

The Senior Lead Product Manager will lead the creation and delivery of money movement products that serve consumers, financial institutions, merchants, and other partners. Positions are located in Scottsdale, SanFrancisco, Chicago, or NewYork and follow a hybrid work model. Essential Functions Builds the right cross‑functional team to obtain a common understanding of customer pain points, empathy, and excitement for solving customer issues. Articulates product strategy and vision across the enterprise and across multiple products. Brings the customer viewpoint to the product design process, actively listening to feedback across all touchpoints and leveraging it into insights that drive product innovation. Works closely with marketing, research, analytics, design, and development partners to develop real‑world solutions in a highly collaborative environment. Integrates strong risk and security controls, ensuring compliance with laws and regulations. Delivers market solutions by collaborating with technologists, defining requirements, grooming user stories, and motivating technical teams. Area of Specialty: Money Movement Define and execute new money movement use cases for Zelle that deliver differentiated experiences for consumers, financial institutions, merchants, and other stakeholders. Partner with participants in the payments ecosystem—financial institutions, merchants, networks, and strategic advisors—to shape product direction and validate market opportunities. Lead product discovery by translating customer insights, market trends, and competitive intelligence into innovative money movement experiences and product requirements. Define experiences that optimize frictionless completion, trust, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction across digital channels. Collaborate with Engineering, Design, Risk, Fraud, Legal, Compliance, Marketing, and Operations to deliver scalable, secure, and customer‑centric money movement solutions. Own the end‑to‑end product lifecycle from concept and business case through requirements, pilot execution, commercialization, and general availability. Define success metrics and monitor product performance, including adoption, payment lifecycle, operational efficiency, customer satisfaction, and business growth. Minimum Qualifications 9+ years of product management experience in payments, fintech, commerce, or related industries. Proven experience taking products from idea to launch. Deep understanding of money movement across multiple disciplines—P2P, A2A, bill payment, and e‑commerce. Strong customer discovery, product strategy, and roadmap development skills. Experience influencing and leading cross‑functional teams without direct authority. Ability to thrive in ambiguous environments and create clarity for teams and stakeholders. Preferred Qualifications Experience at a similar money movement platform. Experience building money movement products across multiple domains. Familiarity with digital wallets, embedded payments, alternative payment methods, real‑time payments, or emerging commerce experiences. Experience launching pilot programs and scaling products to general availability. Compensation Base pay ranges by location: Phoenix, AZ / Chicago, IL: $150,000 - $200,000 per year. NewYork, NY / SanFrancisco, CA: $180,000 - $240,000 per year. Candidates are eligible for a discretionary incentive plan and benefits. Pay is subject to change and is not a guarantee of any specific compensation.
