Speech Language Pathologist

Make a meaningful impact helping students excel in their communication and educational development as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a dynamic school setting. This contract position offers the opportunity to collaborate with dedicated educators, support staff, and families while working with a diverse student population. Qualifications and Desired Experience: Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current state licensure (or eligibility) as an SLP ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) is preferred; strong CFY candidates will be considered Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting is a plus Solid understanding of IEP process, goal writing, and progress monitoring Strong interpersonal and communication skills for working with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams Ability to organize caseload, meet deadlines, and maintain thorough documentation Key Responsibilities: Evaluate students speech, language, and communication abilities using standardized assessment tools Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on students needs and IEP goals Provide direct speech-language services in individual, small group, or classroom settings Consult and collaborate with teachers, parents, and other specialists to maximize student success Track progress and maintain accurate case notes and documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines Participate in IEP meetings and contribute valuable insights for educational planning Promote positive attitudes toward speech therapy and communicate progress to all stakeholders By stepping into this role, youll play a vital role in enhancing students ability to communicate effectively and succeed academically. #J-18808-Ljbffr
