Cat Scan Technologist Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule 07:00 PM - 07:00 AM, Friday, Saturday & Sunday Job Description The Cat Scan Technologist performs computer tomography procedures and related techniques, producing sectional and three-dimensional images for interpretation and assisting with interventional and therapeutic procedures. Responsibilities Perform complex CT procedures with professional judgment. Review and obtain patient clinical history, documenting into PACS. Prepare and review accuracy of the contrast questionnaire. Identify and administer contrast media as prescribed. Verify appropriateness of exam prescriptions and communicate with medical professionals. Obtain outside studies, ensuring their availability in PACS for radiologist comparison. Provide exam copies to patients and their physicians. Evaluate radiographs for diagnostic value. Prepare patients for scanning, ensuring they are adequately informed. Perform venipuncture and monitor patient conditions during procedures. Adhere to attendance policy and complete scheduled shifts. Identify and cater to patient needs, ensuring effective communication. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Minimum of 1 year of experience in CT required; 2 years preferred. Post processing, PACS (Fuji) knowledge required. Knowledge of EPIC EMR preferred. ARRT-CT certification is required. BLS certification required. Why ARMStaffing?
