Make a positive impact supporting elementary students in a life skills autistic support classroom. This contract position is designed for a Special Education Teacher who brings dedication, compassion, and expertise to the classroom each day. You’ll have the opportunity to collaborate with a dynamic school team and help young learners reach their fullest potential.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid Pennsylvania Special Education certification for elementary grades
• Current and valid clearances required
• Experience working in an autistic support or life skills classroom is preferred
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Ability to adapt instruction to meet individual needs

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging, differentiated instruction to students in a life skills/autistic support classroom
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to students’ unique strengths and needs
• Foster an inclusive, supportive, and structured learning environment
• Collaborate with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, families, and support staff
• Track progress and provide regular updates on student performance
• Maintain required documentation and ensure compliance with state and federal guidelines

Position Details:

• Contract position beginning as soon as possible through November 10th
• Monday through Friday schedule (full time)
• Work within one elementary school environment
