Job Title: Sheet Metal Fabricator / Press Brake Operator

Shift and Pay

WEEKEND SHIFT: Fri - Sun (12 hour shifts)

Pay: $20+ based on experience

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Sheet Metal Fabricator / Press Brake Operator to join our manufacturing team. This role is responsible for fabricating high-quality metal components by setting up and operating press brake machinery, interpreting blueprints, and ensuring precision in every part produced.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in metal fabrication and a strong understanding of press brake operations, tooling, and safety procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC and/or manual press brake machines to bend, shape, and form metal parts
• Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work orders to meet specifications
• Select appropriate tooling and adjust machine settings (angles, depths, tolerances)
• Perform accurate measurements using calipers, micrometers, and gauges
• Inspect finished parts to ensure compliance with quality standards and tolerances
• Maintain equipment and perform routine maintenance checks
• Troubleshoot machine or production issues as they arise
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment
• Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines

Required:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Proven experience operating press brake machines
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
• Strong math and measurement skills
• Knowledge of metal fabrication processes and materials

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Orange Park, FL.

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $32.00/hr.
