Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Department Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 18:45 - 07:15 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2+ years License: Required Certifications: - ACLS - BLS - PALS - TNCC - CPI - NIHSS - ENPC (within 90 days of hire) Must-Have: - 2 years of experience as a nurse, with at least 1 year in an emergency room setting - Teamwork mentality - Ability to coach and give feedback in real time - Flexibility to work in all areas of the emergency department Description: The emergency department is seeking a committed and skilled registered nurse. This role is essential in providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. The department operates as a Level II trauma center and a comprehensive stroke center, receiving a high volume of visits annually. Patient ratios typically maintain a 4:1 standard, with potential for up to 7:1 on behavioral holds. Nursing staff are supported by technicians who assist with cardiac monitoring, triage, and clerical duties. Advanced skills are required for various procedures performed within the unit.
