Job Type: Full-Time, non-exempt

Shift: 7 AM to 5:30 PM/ 8 AM to 6:30 AM

Rate will be determined based on experience

CMI sources and processes recycled ferrous and non-ferrous metals across North America and ensure they do not end up in a landfill or go to waste. Our recycling stream ensures that all the ferrous and non-ferrous metals that enter our yards will create something new again!

Here's where you come in!

We are growing and need a Maintenance Millwright to join our team at our New Castle, PA site. In this role you will perform direct troubleshooting maintenance work for repair, adjustment, adaptation, re-design, preventative maintenance and installation of all plant and yard equipment, machinery and infrastructure to assist in a safe and productive work environment for all employees. This position is performed outside in our recycling yards as well as indoors in our maintenance shop.

Here's what you'll be responsible for in this role:

• Perform Preventive Maintenance activities as assigned on all equipment and machines throughout the plant and yards in conjunction with daily production requirements
• Repair breakdown of equipment, machinery, and infrastructure
• Maintain hydraulic and pneumatic systems
• Fabricate parts and other equipment as per instructions or blueprint
• Install and commission new machinery
• Perform weld repairs on equipment

We think it would be awesome if you have:

• Millwright Certification is an asset
• Minimum of three years of Millwright or Maintenance Mechanic experience.
• Experienced with welding
• Experience diagnosing mechanical and electrical problems and expediting repair
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Own tools
