Behavior Technician - Center Based - Hawthorne Hawthorne, NY Details about this opportunity Full Time Center-Based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Therapist/Registered Behavioral Technician (RBT) Hawthorne, NY Mon-Fri 8:30am-3:30pm $21-26 per hour (rate determined by service, experience and certifications). Collect behavior and skill acquisition data during sessions. Acquire and maintain RBT credential in accordance with the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) within the first 90 days of employment. Use Central Reach platform for data collection and graphing. Implement Behavior Support Plans and Behavior Intervention Plans as directed. Effectively manage learners, including physical crisis intervention protocols, while ensuring a safe and supportive environment. Maintain confidentiality of information regarding children and families in accordance with State and Federal regulations. Understand and demonstrate the company core values. And more! About You Passionate about working with children, adolescents, families and therapists. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Critical thinker with a problem‑solving mind. Experience maintaining a high level of confidentiality. Act with humility and grace. Empathetic and considerate of others. Ability to function well in a high‑paced and at times stressful environment. Background Minimum of 6 months ABA experience working with children or adolescents with Autism in a supervised setting. Successful completion of or current enrollment in an undergraduate program in psychology, healthcare, human services, education or related field. Bilingual is a plus.
