You’ll work closely with Pre-K students and two self-contained classrooms, providing essential speech and language services. Responsibilities include conducting evaluations and screenings, developing IEPs, and offering impactful interventions. Familiarity with Medicaid billing is beneficial but not required.

Qualifications:

• Current North Carolina SLP license required with ASHA certification
• Minimum 2 years of experience delivering school-based speech therapy services
• Comfortable with evaluations, screenings, IEP development, and direct therapy
• Open to licensed Speech Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) as well
• Medicaid billing experience is a plus

Responsibilities:

• Deliver individual and group speech/language therapy to PK and self-contained students
• Accurately perform comprehensive evaluations and screenings
• Develop, document, and update Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress
