Commercial Services Specialist I

Commercial Services Specialist I – Management Level Individual Contributor. Must be based at a specified Cox location. No remote option. Work shift: Day. Compensation: $18.17 – $27.31 hourly base pay, with potential commission and incentive programs. Job Description This role serves as a key point of contact for resolution of client issues, collaborating with the national sales team, auction representatives, and stakeholders for clients in the assigned market center, auction, or on CAI’s digital platforms. Responsibilities Serve as the key point of contact for client issue resolution in collaboration with sales team, auction reps, and stakeholders. Manage the redemption office and promptly elevate high‑level issues to management when local solutions aren’t feasible. Coordinate redemptions; schedule vehicle pickups, facilitate payments, and ensure proper documentation. Receive and process payments including money orders and cashier’s checks. Operate jump boxes and tire air compression pumps as required. Adapt to various weather conditions, working both indoors and outdoors. Collaborate with Accounts Receivable to post accurate charges, process invoices, and pursue collections. Prioritize tasks within the lifetime of auctioned cars and follow account‑specific procedures for sale vehicle running, including scheduling, repairs, accurate charge posting, reporting, and invoicing. Maintain communication with other Manheim departments regarding post‑sale activities, AR, and related matters. Create file jackets for client audits containing condition reports and all invoices for performed work and transportation. Monitor auctions, coordinate sale vehicle run processes, and ensure direct client communication to meet expectations. Build positive client relationships, examine vehicles in the sales lineup, review pictures and audit reports, and coordinate transportation. Educate clients on auction processes and complementary company products, upselling when appropriate. Respond to customer care issues promptly and professionally, demonstrating strong prioritization and professionalism. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED with 3 years of experience, or an equivalent combination such as a degree beyond HS diploma/GED and 5 years of experience in a related field. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to build strong business relationships. Problem‑solving and de‑escalation skills. Strong organizational skills. Preferred: knowledge of Salesforce, AS400, Workbench, and Excel. Drug Testing Pre‑employment drug testing is required. This position does not allow the testing of marijuana.
