Oncology Nurse Educator - Los Angeles N, CA

AbbVie seeks an experienced oncology nurse educator to deliver clinical education to allied healthcare professionals and patient care teams on approved oncology therapies, disease management, and treatment protocols across Northern California.
Responsibilities
- Deliver proactive and reactive education to allied healthcare professionals on approved products and disease states
- Develop customized educational plans based on account dynamics and clinical team needs
- Educate clinicians on patient identification, therapy roles, preparation, administration, and adverse event management
- Provide education through 1:1 presentations, in-services, round-table discussions, and podium presentations
- Document customer interactions and clinical insights; collaborate across internal functional areas
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in nursing, NP, PA, or PharmD credential
- Current active healthcare provider license
- 7+ years clinical oncology/hematology experience with recent hematology background
- Experience in academic and/or community oncology practice settings
- Strong presentation, communication, and analytical skills with clinical data interpretation ability
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and similar applications
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record; ability to travel 50% including overnight
