As a Full Time Service Advisor at Spradley Auto, your typical day will revolve around providing top-notch customer service and ensuring a seamless experience for our clients. You will start by preparing for customer appointments, reviewing service schedules and vehicle histories. Upon customer arrival, you'll greet them warmly, listen attentively to their concerns, and document vehicle issues accurately.

Acting as the primary liaison between customers and service technicians, you'll communicate recommended services and repair needs in straightforward language, providing transparent cost estimates and securing customer approvals. Throughout the day, you'll monitor repair progress, keep customers updated on timelines, and ensure that all work is completed as promised. In addition to interacting with customers, you'll manage repair orders, process payments, coordinate parts availability, and resolve inquiries.

Your day will wrap up with follow-ups and closing out repair orders, all while preparing for the next day's appointments.

To excel as a Full Time Service Advisor at Spradley Auto, you will need a dynamic blend of skills and knowledge. A basic understanding of automotive systems and common vehicle repairs is essential, along with familiarity with service department operations and repair order processes. • Familiarity with dealership management systems (DMS) and digital inspection tools

• Understanding of parts availability, labor times, and service pricing structures

• Awareness of CSI metrics, customer retention strategies, and dealership KPIs

• Advanced customer communication and relationship-building skills

• Ability to clearly explain complex technical information and repair recommendations

• Strong sales and consultative selling skills with an ethical, customer-focused approach

• Excellent time management and multitasking abilities in a high-volume environment

• Problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills

• Attention to detail for accurate repair orders, billing, and warranty documentation

• Leadership and mentoring skills to support junior advisors and promote team success
