Road America Security Team (Part Time Seasonal) Road America is seeking an individual with a passion for racing to be part of the Security team. This role is a part‑time seasonal position from April – October. This position is responsible for ensuring safety in a number of different areas and conducting routing patrols. The security team members assume a proactive role in keeping the facility safe. Key Responsibilities Greeting and interacting with customers in a friendly and positive manner. Providing information and guidance to Road America guests and ensuring the safety of employees and customers by enforcing the rules of Road America. Patrolling the facility to prevent and detect security violations. Monitoring the entrance and departure of employees and guests. Providing excellent customer service to guests by fielding inquiries and maintaining a friendly, safe environment. Shift Days and Hours The employee selects the days and hours they work based on what is available. Pay Pay: $13.50 per hour and an additional $1.50 for nights. Qualifications Must be at least 16 years of age. Possess a valid driver’s license. Ability to multitask, advanced people skills, ability to diffuse situations, ability to assist with crowd control. Flexible scheduling is needed as shift include days, nights, weekend and holidays. Work Environment / Physical Requirements While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, talk, hear, and use hands to operate equipment. The employee is subject to outside environment conditions such as cold weather or extreme heat. Also subject to noise and fast-moving objects.
