They engage with customers at the service counter and move incoming merchandise out to the sales floor. Cleaning and maintaining proper food safety standards are critical to the team's success. What you’ll do As a fresh food and grocery associate at Walmart, you will make important decisions about the quality of fruit and vegetables customers eat and feed to their families. You will work in a fast-paced environment, drawing on your knowledge of food safety, customer service, and inventory management to keep our store running smoothly. Serve customers at the deli and UPS, ensuring a friendly and efficient experience. Assist with cake orders, bakery displays, and special occasions. Support the dry grocery department by helping customers locate items and maintaining proper stock. Perform detailed cleaning of shelves, temperature checks, and date verification for all fresh food products. Dispose of lower-quality items in accordance with safety guidelines.
