Monday to Friday 11am to 7pm The Quality Inspector I is responsible to ensure product quality by completing first piece, in-process, and final product inspection while maintaining a record of all inspection data. What you will do Read customer print to work order. Read customer prints and associated job documentation and ensure all requirements are met. This includes but is not limited to basic dimensions, geometric dimensioning and tolerancing, surface finish, material type, and plating/finish requirements. Record and archive inspection results. Write up parts requiring reworks or remakes via non-conformance reports and route them to the proper operations. Complete first article inspection (FAI) reports when required by the customers. Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following all plant rules. Maintain organization and cleanliness in the workplace and ensure all tools are properly stored and accounted for when not in use. Perform other related duties as assigned What it takes High school diploma or equivalent degree Able to comprehend and follow printed and computer-screen instructions, and direction from supervisors or technical leads Good written and oral communication skills Able to use measuring instruments such as scales, and calipers Able to work safely with sharp tools/objects, such as but not limited to, hobby knives, utility knives, diagonal-cutting pliers Able to use a computer and calculator Able to read and write in English, and do basic arithmetic Able to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented work environment Must be punctual and have good attendance Strong attention to detail is required Bonus points for Previous experience in a CNC Machining environment. Actual pay offered will vary depending on multiple factors which may include, without limitation, job function, work experience, specialized skills, training, education, and certifications.
