The COO will be responsible for overseeing branch operations, ensuring high-quality service delivery, and meeting growth and profitability goals. This role involves establishing and maintaining operational standards, processes, and metrics across multiple locations, as well as fostering a performance-oriented culture. Specific duties include setting an operational baseline, owning the operational P&L, standardizing SOPs, conducting job site audits, and strengthening execution in various markets. The ideal candidate will have a background in operations management within a rapidly growing, multisite, commercial contracting business, with a preference for those with experience in project-based industries. Candidates for the COO position at the company should have a history of building effective cultures and growing similar-sized businesses. Experience in an acquisitive, private equity-backed environment is preferred, as is a strong background in establishing systems, processes, and operational KPIs. The role requires a high-energy, self-motivated individual who is comfortable working in the field and with trade crews. Outstanding interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills are essential, as is the ability to build relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders.
