Manager, Clinical Data Management

Clinical data management leader responsible for team oversight, project execution, and budget management at a global CRO. Role includes staff development, study escalations, sponsor interactions, and process improvement initiatives within the Data Management department.
Responsibilities
- Provide management and leadership oversight of data management teams and assigned projects for study execution
- Act as primary escalation point for study-specific issues and represent company at sponsor governance meetings
- Manage departmental personnel including allocation, training, mentoring, and performance reviews
- Lead process improvement initiatives and serve as subject matter expert for designated data management processes
- Participate in sponsor audits, regulatory inspections, and business development proposal preparation as needed
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in biomedical sciences, life sciences, computer science, or related field
- Minimum 9 years clinical data management experience in pharma, biotech, or medical device
- 2-4 years of line management experience
- Expert knowledge of data management best practices and clinical trial technologies
- Advanced understanding of clinical trial protocols, statistical analysis plans, and CRFs
- Strong project management and analytical problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
Compensation: $99,000-$196,000 annually
