Point Of Rental Software PositionPosition at Point of Rental SoftwareThe Point of Rental Consulting and Implementation team is on the front lines of customer success - working directly with rental businesses worldwide to get them up and running on the POR Elite platform and operating at their best. This team combines deep rental industry knowledge with sharp consulting instincts, and they move fast.What You'll DoOwn end-to-end Elite product implementation for POR clients, including project management, configuration, training delivery, and data integrity validationLead client discovery calls to understand business goals, workflows, and operational needs - then translate those into a tailored implementation approachDesign and deliver high-quality training programs (primarily online via Zoom, Teams, or similar) that drive real software adoption, not just checkbox completionCollaborate with the Learning and Development team to continuously improve training content, delivery methods, and effectivenessMonitor project plans, track milestone progress, and communicate implementation status clearly to clients and internal stakeholdersResolve client issues during implementation with creative, out-of-the-box thinking - showing each customer how to use the POR suite to actually accomplish their goalsPrepare best practices dossiers by industry and deliver consulting material aligned to POR consultancy standardsIdentify opportunities for additional consulting services and coordinate with the appropriate internal teams for follow-upProactively develop and maintain expertise in the full Point of Rental suite, staying current on new features, industry trends, and best practicesWork independently and manage your own day-to-day activities with strong organizational accountabilityWhat You Bring2+ years of hands-on experience in the equipment or party/event rental industry3+ years delivering training on web-based software solutions, including webinars and virtual classroom environmentsDemonstrated ability to interpret customer goals and business operations and translate them into practical software adoption strategiesHigh proficiency in training, coaching, and consultative leadership - you make complex things click for peopleStrong project management instincts - you track your own milestones and don't let things fall through the cracksExcellent presentation, communication, and customer service skills, both written and verbalProficiency across training delivery methods: virtual, classroom, and computer-basedAbility to travel domestically as needed (less than 20%)Preferred: Knowledge of SQL or database structures for data validation supportPreferred: Prior experience with Point of Rental softwareWhy Point of RentalPoint of Rental is the global leader in rental software, and this role puts you at the center of why clients succeed with us.
