Receptionist Every Other Weekend 230pm to 9pm
Maybrook Hills Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center - Altoona, PA

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Receptionist to provide excellent customer service and represent Maybrook Hills in the upmost positive light to residents, patients, employees, family members, and visitors. As a Receptionist at Maybrook Hills, you will be responsible for a variety of office and clerical duties, including:

Responsibilities:

• Greet visitors, residents, and patients, and ensure they sign-in and sign-out upon leaving the facility

• Track and maintain records of facility visitors and staff

• Provide information and building directions to visitors and families

• Sort and post mail

• Answer and transfer phone calls

• Perform clerical tasks, such as faxing, copying, and laminating

• Recreate forms and type documents for staff

• Use Point Click Care as needed

• Maintain updated resident information in the rolodex

• Keep administration updated on supply needs and order supplies as requested

• Participate in fire and other emergency drills

• Keep the administrator and management informed of important facility occurrences

General Responsibilities:

• Perform all tasks and duties in an efficient and safe manner

• Perform other related duties as assigned or as necessary

• Remain flexible and adaptable in work schedules and assignments

• Represent Maybrook Hills in a manner that conveys professionalism, confidentiality, courtesy, fairness, personal integrity, and respect for others.

Skills:

• Ability to follow directions

• Ability to evaluate and interpret information

• Must have the ability to remain calm under stress and take and direct multiple phone calls at once

• Must be able to multi-task and assist all departments as needed

• Must be patient, courteous, and tactful

• Must have a positive attitude toward the elderly and willingness to help
