Assistant Custodian - 9 Month / 7 Hour

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Must be strong enough to do required work without being subjected to excessive danger to his/her person (i.e., be able to bend, twist and squat, work on a ladder without causing dizziness, to carry desks, tables and other heavy furniture or equipment).
• Recommended minimum age requirements at initial employment- 21.
• Required physical before employment.

Reports To:

• Principal (Director) or Principal's designee

Responsibilities:

• Is responsible to the principal and shall perform duties as set forth by the principal
• Keeps campus free of paper and trash.
• Cleans and maintains restrooms and floors.
• Assists custodian as needed.
• Shall perform other position related duties as assigned by the principal within reason and not to exceed time limits.
• Must wear a lift belt when performing lifting duties.

Terms of Employment:

• Salary and work year to be according to the current approved/applicable salary schedule.

Evaluation:

• Performance of this job will be evaluated annually in accordance with provisions of the Board's policy on Evaluation of Support Personnel.
