PLC Programmer – Allen-Bradley / Rockwell (1-Week Shutdown Project – Night Shift) Job Title: PLC Programmer – Allen-Bradley/Rockwell (Chrysler Standard) Location: Detroit, MI Job Type: Contract (1 Week) Shift: Night Shift (Shutdown Project) Start: Immediate Job Description GableTek is seeking an experienced PLC Programmer for a 1-week shutdown project in the Detroit area. This is a hands‑on role requiring a programmer who can work independently in a fast‑paced automotive manufacturing environment. Candidates must have Chrysler/Stellantis programming standards experience and be proficient with Allen-Bradley/Rockwell PLCs . The selected contractor will support PLC programming, debugging, troubleshooting, and production startup during a scheduled plant shutdown. Responsibilities Program, modify, and debug Allen-Bradley/Rockwell PLC systems Troubleshoot and resolve PLC‑related issues during equipment startup Support commissioning and shutdown activities Validate I/O and machine functionality Work closely with controls, electrical, and mechanical teams Ensure systems are production‑ready before launch Required Qualifications Strong experience programming Allen-Bradley / Rockwell PLCs Must have Chrysler/Stellantis programming standard experience Ability to independently troubleshoot and debug PLC programs Experience supporting automotive manufacturing shutdowns Excellent troubleshooting and startup skills Able to work night shift and overtime as required Preferred Qualifications Experience with FactoryTalk, Studio 5000, RSLogix 5000 Automotive launch and commissioning experience Ability to read electrical prints and PLC documentation Job Details Duration: 1 Week Shift: Nights Location: Detroit, MI Start Date: Immediate Apply today if you have Chrysler standards experience and are available to support this shutdown project immediately. #J-18808-Ljbffr GABLETEK
