Registered Nurse - Classical Hematology Clinic

This is a 13-week contract position.

Day shift, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

The Classical Hematology Clinic is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The clinic specializes in non-malignant hematology, providing care for conditions such as bleeding disorders, hemophilia, anemias, sickle cell disease, and DVTs. The RN will be responsible for a variety of patient care activities in an outpatient setting, without direct involvement in malignant hematology or oncology.

Responsibilities:

• Perform phlebotomy and central line care.
• Assist with bone marrow biopsies and vaccinations.
• Conduct patient education and phone triage.
• Facilitate scheduling for infusions and case management.
• Assess patients and manage follow-ups.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in acute oncology/hematology.
• Phlebotomy skills are a must.
• BCLS certification is required.
• Preferred certifications: ONS, BMTCN, OCN.
• Must bring your own stethoscope.
