Telemetry Float Registered Nurse

Holland Hospital is seeking an experienced Telemetry Float Registered Nurse for an assignment in Holland, Michigan. The position is located at 602 Michigan Avenue, Holland, Michigan 49423.
This is a float pool position covering the 8-bed ICU and 22-bed Telemetry Unit. The schedule is a blocked Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday night shift, every week. Cerner experience is required. The unit cares for high-acuity diagnoses including Sepsis, Respiratory Failure, and Heart Failure.

Responsibilities

• Float between the 8-bed ICU and 22-bed Telemetry Unit.
• Provide care for high-acuity patients including sepsis, respiratory failure, and heart failure.
• Coordinate care and delegate to ancillary nursing staff.
• Document using the Cerner EMR system.
• Practice in accordance with Michigan Public Health Code Act 368 of 1978.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing Program.
• Current Michigan RN License (or completed by end of orientation).
• Cerner experience required.
• Current BLS certification.
• ACLS certification (within one year of hire).
• PALS certification preferred.
• Prior specialty experience (CCRN, CEN, etc.) preferred.
