Pharmacy Technician

Position Description Assists Pharmacist by performing a variety of clerical type duties. Major/Essential Functions Receives, interprets, enters into computer, and prepares prescription orders for checking by the pharmacists Supports pharmacy quality assurance program Triage department information inquiries (answering telephones) Maintains confidential records and files Maintains order and appearance of the pharmacy Required Qualifications Education: A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent. License/Certification: Must be registered with the Texas State Board of Pharmacy.
