Medical Surgical Telemetry RNWe are seeking a Medical Surgical Telemetry RN, internally referred to as our Med/Tele RN at working in both the Med-Surg and Telemetry departments. A dedicated nurse specializing in attending to patients within Med/Surg units, especially those needing cardiac monitoring. Pampa Regional offers key services to the community including heart care, emergency services, urgent care, surgical services and more.Responsibilities:Assess patients' conditions, including vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and overall health status, to create individualized care plansMonitor patients' cardiac rhythms and vital signs using telemetry equipment, which allows for remote monitoring of patients' heart rates and rhythmsCommunicate with the physician about changes in the patient's clinical condition, including cardiac monitoring, results of diagnostic studies, and symptomatologyAdminister medications as prescribed by physicians, including intravenous medications, and monitor patients for any adverse reactionsProvide hands-on care to patients, including wound care, administering treatments, assisting with activities of daily living, and providing emotional supportQualifications:EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING1. Current and valid state RN License. 2. Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current. 3. Current ACLS certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current preferred. 4. Previous Acute Care hospital experience preferred. 5. Ventilator Management experience preferred. 6.
