Administrative Assistant
Location: Detroit, MI (Downtown) – Full-Time, Onsite
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Employment Type: Temp-to-Hire

Position Overview
We are seeking a highly professional and proactive Administrative Assistant to support executive leadership within a fast-paced corporate environment. This role will report directly to the Chief of Staff while providing day-to-day administrative support to the President of the company. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities with discretion and professionalism. This position offers strong growth potential into an Executive Assistant role.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage complex and frequently changing executive calendars and schedules
- Coordinate internal and external meetings across multiple time zones
- Prepare meeting agendas, materials, presentations, and logistical arrangements
- Coordinate domestic and international travel, including flights, hotels, transportation, visas, and travel documentation
- Create detailed travel itineraries and proactively manage schedule changes or travel disruptions
- Track travel expenses and assist with expense reporting and reimbursements
- Draft, proofread, and edit professional correspondence, reports, and presentations
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems
- Support special projects, event coordination, and additional administrative tasks as needed
- Assist with occasional personal errands and executive support responsibilities
Required Qualifications
- 3–5 years of experience in an Administrative Assistant or similar support role
- Proven experience supporting executives in a fast-paced corporate environment
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Experience managing executive calendars and coordinating meetings across multiple time zones
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with professionalism and integrity
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Self-starter with a proactive mindset and the ability to anticipate needs
- Ability to remain composed and professional in high-pressure environments
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting senior executives or leadership teams
- Familiarity with travel booking platforms and expense management systems
- Experience coordinating complex domestic and international travel arrangements
- Ability to manage multiple competing priorities with minimal supervision
