O&M Technician with Security Clearance

Overview As the O&M Technician, you will perform maintenance and repair of equipment and buildings requiring knowledge in trades such as painting, carpentry, plumbing, masonry, HVAC, and electrical work. Responsibilities Replace electrical receptacles, wires, switches, fixtures, and motors Use plaster or compound to patch walls and ceilings Repair and replace sinks, water coolers, and toilets Paint structures and equipment Repair and replace concrete floors, steps, and sidewalks Replace damaged paneling and floor tiles Hang doors and install door locks Replace broken window panes Perform general maintenance on equipment and machinery Conduct preventive maintenance, minor electrical repairs, troubleshooting, and replacement of parts Qualifications High School diploma or equivalent 5 to 7 years of related experience Professional certification in one or more trades, preferably plumbing or HVAC Forklift certification Consideration will be given to relevant professional experience commensurate with assignment. Knowledge & Skills Considerable knowledge of the job with complete acquaintance and understanding of the general and detailed aspects of the role and their practical applications to problems and situations ordinarily encountered.
