Investment Associate – Global Asset-Based Credit JSS have partnered with a top tier investment firm who are seeking a talented Associate to join their Investment Team. This firm specializes in providing global asset-based credit solutions designed to help high-growth companies navigate critical scaling milestones. The Role As a core member of the Investment Team, you will contribute to all phases of the investment lifecycle. This is a high-impact position requiring a passion for fintech and a deep understanding of asset-backed corporate finance. Key Responsibilities Underwriting: Evaluate investment opportunities using collateral-specific credit analyses, including loss coverage measurements and return calculations. Credit Analysis: Manipulate loan tapes and review diligence materials to assess credit quality. Execution & Sourcing: Prepare detailed investment memos, support deal execution, and identify emerging companies for potential sourcing. Data Management: Work fluently with large, diverse datasets and perform advanced scenario modeling. Portfolio Monitoring: Manage existing portfolio reporting and generate comprehensive performance reviews. Qualifications Experience: 2–4 years of professional experience within private credit, investment banking, debt capital markets, leveraged finance, or structured/asset-based finance. Technical Skills: Advanced Excel proficiency and a strong command of financial statement analysis and fixed‑income transaction mechanics.
