About the Position

AlliedTravelCareers is working with Jackson HealthPros to find a qualified Surg Tech in Nashville, Tennessee, 37205!

Join our team as a Certified CVOR Surgical Technologist in Nashville, TN at a hospital. You will function as a member of a cardiac surgical team, assisting physicians and nurses in the operating room during cardiac procedures. You will ensure patient safety by preparing the operating room, sterilizing equipment, and providing direct support to the surgical team.

Minimum Requirements:

• Certification from a program accredited by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA).
• BLS Certification.
• 2 years' experience as a certified CVOR technologist in a cardiac surgical environment.
• Experience in cardiac operating rooms with exposure to open and robotic cardiac surgery.
• Familiarity with cardiac surgical instrumentation and sterile processing for high-volume cardiac services.
• Ability to work an 8- to 12-hour operative schedule and participate in required call rotations.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with robotic platforms such as da Vinci Xi and intraoperative robotic assistance.
• Experience supporting heart failure and heart transplant programs.
• Prior experience in a high-volume cardiac center performing multiple cases per operative day.

Assignment Details

• Shift Days: Rotating days based on an 8-week schedule.
• Shift Hours: 06:45–19:15.
• Weekly Hours: 36 hours.
• Call Requirements: 10 CST call shifts per 8-week schedule. Call shifts are 12 hours.
• Clinical setting includes multiple cardiac ORs, high case volume, and procedures that may include robotic and open cardiac surgeries.
