Manager of Product Management - Imaging Solutions (Microscopy Lab Instruments)

Lead product management strategy for a microscopy imaging solutions portfolio at a life science company. Direct a team of product managers while overseeing instruments, software, and consumables through full lifecycle management, pricing strategy, and roadmap development.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop product management team while supporting capability growth and execution
- Manage full product lifecycle across instruments, software, and consumables from introduction through phase-out
- Drive profitability and margins of existing product lines while executing value-based pricing strategies
- Define product strategies, roadmaps, and requirements; shape long-term product vision and next-generation portfolio
- Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement and enhancements
Requirements
- Master's degree in cell biology, biology, immunology, neuroscience, molecular biology, biochemistry, or bioengineering
- 10+ years product management or commercial experience in life science tools or related industry
- 7+ years people management experience
- 5+ years hands-on microscopy and image analysis experience
- Proven product management experience with life science imaging instrumentation and software portfolios
- Strong strategic and business acumen to identify market opportunities and define portfolio strategies
- Experience developing products using stage-gate and agile methodologies
Compensation: $150,000-$193,000 base with bonus
