Seeking experienced Part-Time Tax Assessor with Certified Tax Assessor (CTA) license. 2,750 line items consisting of residential, commercial and farmland properties. Must be knowledgeable in all aspects of local assessment practices, including, but not limited to, maintaining assessment records, revaluation and reassessments, property tax deductions and exemptions, added and omitted assessments, farmland assessment, tax map revisions, inspecting, listing & measuring properties, preparation of 200' lists, and OPRA requests. Knowledge of BRT for MOD IV, CAMA system, tax appeals and various reports. Must possess strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with the public and other municipal departments. Salary range $9,000 to $24,000 annually, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
