Maintenance Worker (Temporary – 6 Months)
Location: Marina, CA
Pay Rate: $35.00 – $40.00 per hour
Position Summary
We are seeking a reliable and hands-on Maintenance Worker to support the day-to-day maintenance and operation of our facilities for a six-month temporary assignment. This role is responsible for performing preventative maintenance, basic repairs, equipment installations, and general upkeep of manufacturing and office spaces to ensure a safe, clean, and efficient working environment.
Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on facility equipment, doors, restrooms, and other high-use areas.
• Conduct routine inspections of building systems and identify maintenance needs.
• Troubleshoot and perform basic electrical repairs and maintenance.
• Assist with the installation, relocation, and setup of equipment and facility assets.
• Support maintenance and repair activities within manufacturing and office environments.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and facility-related issues.
• Maintain accurate records of completed maintenance and repair work.
• Coordinate with external vendors and contractors when necessary.
• Follow all company safety procedures, OSHA regulations, and facility standards.
• Help ensure facilities remain safe, functional, and well-maintained.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of maintenance, facilities, or related technical experience; manufacturing environment preferred.
• Working knowledge of preventative maintenance practices and building systems.
• Basic electrical troubleshooting and repair experience.
• Ability to read and interpret work orders, technical manuals, and schematics.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to lift and move materials or equipment up to 50 lbs.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Knowledge of workplace safety practices and OSHA regulations.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting manufacturing or industrial facilities.
• Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, or carpentry.
• Experience using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
