Environmental Service Associate 6A-2:30PM

Under direct supervision, maintains an assigned area of the hospital in a sanitary and orderly condition in accordance with departmental and regulatory agency policies, procedures and standards. Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent Licensure: GBMC OR Training Certification within 6 months of accepting position. Experience: Six (6) months experience in a direct patient care environment to be familiar with basic patient activities, procedures, techniques and protocols. Skills: Ability to read and write English to follow instructions regarding the cleaning and maintenance of the operating rooms, equipment and supplies. Ability to work well under time constraints and to work effectively as a team member. Interpersonal and oral communication skills necessary to interact with patients, visitors, nursing staff and physicians. Pay Range $15.00 - $20.00 Final salary offer will be based on the candidate’s qualifications, education, experience and alignment with our organizational needs.
