Job Type Full-time Description Regional Marketing Liaison Job Description Classification: Full Time Department/Division: Marketing Location: CBO_Park Ridge, SBU Reports To: Chief Marketing Officer Supervises: None Founded in 1991, IBJI is the largest orthopedic group practice in Illinois. With more than 150 physicians in every orthopedic specialty, IBJI offers care for adults and children from some of the most accomplished and respected orthopedists in the country. Serving northern Illinois and northwest Indiana with over 100 locations, IBJI makes it easy to access care. Our headquarters is in Park Ridge, Illinois, a northwest suburb of Chicago. Our clinical services include advanced MRI imaging, pain management, non-surgical and surgical treatment plans, rheumatology, physical therapy, occupational therapy, wellness, and sports and sports training. Ortho Access walk-in clinics provide same day care for orthopedic injuries. Comprehensive care offered all in one place enables physicians, therapists and staff to work closely together, so that patients and families achieve better outcomes. Collaborative care is also more efficient. In many cases, IBJI services are substantially less expensive than those provided by large healthcare systems and emergency rooms. Job Summary The Regional Marketing Liaison for Illinois Bone & Joint Institute (IBJI) is a field-based marketing and relationship development position responsible for strengthening relationships with referring physicians, employers, community partners, patients and internal stakeholders throughout the assigned region. This role will develop and execute local marketing and outreach strategies designed to increase awareness of IBJI's physicians and services, strengthen referral relationships, support patient growth and identify new business opportunities. The Liaison will serve as a key connection between IBJI and the communities it serves, regularly visiting physician offices, employers and community organizations and representing IBJI at events and sponsorship opportunities. The ideal candidate is personable, highly organized, proactive and comfortable building relationships with physicians and healthcare professionals. This individual should have a strong marketing mindset, excellent customer-service skills and the ability to translate outreach activities into measurable results. The primary focus of this position will include the South and Southwest suburban markets, including Hinsdale, Joliet, Westmont, New Lenox and Western Springs, as well as other communities within the assigned territory. Physician & Referral Relations Develop and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with referring physicians, physician offices and healthcare organizations throughout the assigned territory. Meet regularly with staff and physicians at IBJI's priority referring groups to communicate new services, introduce new physicians, increase awareness of existing services and identify opportunities to better serve referral partners. Develop relationships with physicians who do not consistently refer to IBJI, as well as physicians who are new to the area, with the goal of establishing IBJI as a trusted orthopedic resource. Identify referral barriers and opportunities and communicate relevant feedback to Marketing and appropriate internal leadership. Serve as a liaison between referring offices and IBJI, helping identify and resolve service or communication issues that may impact referral relationships and escalating issues appropriately. Coordinate opportunities for IBJI physicians to engage directly with referring physicians, healthcare professionals and community partners. Provide referring offices with timely information regarding physicians, services, access, locations and other resources. Maintain consistent follow-up with referral sources to strengthen relationships and ensure continuity of communication. Community & Employer Outreach Develop and maintain relationships with employers, community organizations, schools, athletic organizations and other strategic partners within the assigned territory. Support IBJI's work comp growth strategy by identifying and engaging local employers and introducing them to IBJI's work comp services and capabilities. Identify larger employers and organizations that may benefit from a more formal relationship and coordinate meetings with the appropriate IBJI work comp leadership. Represent IBJI at health fairs, conferences, industry events, community events and other outreach opportunities. Coordinate community sponsorships and events from planning through follow-up, including logistics, marketing materials, physician participation and measurement of results. Identify opportunities to increase IBJI's visibility and strengthen relationships within the communities we serve. Regional Marketing Develop and execute a prioritized regional outreach plan based on referral volume, growth opportunities, physician specialties, geography and IBJI's strategic priorities. Support marketing initiatives (videos, website updates, printed collateral, etc) that promote IBJI physicians, services, locations and programs within the assigned region. Support new physician and location launches with targeted outreach and relationship-development plans. Ensure local marketing efforts are aligned with IBJI's overall marketing strategy, brand standards and approved marketing processes. Maintain and coordinate updates to marketing posters, exam-room materials and other in-office collateral on a quarterly basis. Partner with internal Marketing team members and SBU leadership to identify opportunities for local campaigns, events and other initiatives. Identify relevant competitive, market and community trends and communicate opportunities or concerns to Marketing leadership. Budget & Financial Management Manage the assigned regional marketing budget, including tracking expenditures and ensuring spending aligns with approved marketing priorities. Obtain appropriate approval for invoices, sponsorships, events and other marketing expenses before commitments are made. Tracking, Reporting & Accountability Utilize IBJI's designated tracking system/CRM to accurately document outreach activities, contacts, meetings, follow-up and results. Maintain accurate records of referral sources, community partners, employer relationships and outreach opportunities. Track activity and results by outreach source, including physician offices, employers, events, sponsorships and community partnerships. Provide regular reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer regarding outreach activity, relationship development, referral trends, opportunities, challenges and budget utilization. Use data and feedback to identify opportunities for improvement and recommend adjustments to regional marketing strategies.
