Staff Engineer I

Entry Level Civil Engineer I – Water Collections Systems This position will operate out of our Mentor, OH office and plays a pivotal role in supporting the design, implementation, and maintenance of water collection systems. Responsibilities Assist in the design and development of water collection systems, including pipelines, pumping stations, and treatment facilities. Conduct field inspections and assessments to ensure compliance with project specifications and regulatory requirements. Prepare technical reports, drawings, and documentation for project submissions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support project planning and execution. Participate in project meetings and provide technical input as needed. Perform data analysis and modeling to support engineering decisions. Ensure adherence to safety standards and best practices in all project activities. Conduct field condition assessment, participate in confined space entry, conduct flow monitoring and other field data collection and review. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in engineering software and tools (e.g., AutoCAD, GIS, hydraulic modeling software). Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively. Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges. Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and lift up to 50 lbs, occasionally up to 80 lbs. Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites as required.
