Description

American Traveler is hiring an MRI Technologist for an outpatient radiology setting requiring 2+ years of experience and ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification.

Details

• Outpatient radiology department performing routine diagnostic MRI imaging
• Adult and pediatric outpatient population
• Patient ratio of 1:1
• No cardiac imaging performed
• Studies include MRI of the body, MSK, neuro, spine, and orthopedic imaging
• Uses Fuji Oasis 1.2T Open MRI Unit and PACS system
• EMR is IntelliSpace/Medinformatics
• 5x8 hour day shifts, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM
• No call requirements
• Candidates must be willing to float within the health system as operationally necessary

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of MRI Technologist experience required
• ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification required
• BLS certification preferred
• Washington state license required if applicable
• Epic EMR experience required
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Ability to work independently and make clinical decisions in a routine outpatient setting
• Skills in abdominal, pelvic, head, neck, spine, chest, and musculoskeletal MRI imaging
• Experience with contrast media preparation/administration and peripheral IV starts preferred
• Knowledge of radiation safety and isolation precautions/PPE

Additional Information

• Perform diagnostic MRI studies across body, MSK, neuro, spine, and orthopedic protocols
• First-time travelers are not accepted for this role
• Local candidates within 60 miles of the facility are not accepted
• Previous PeaceHealth employees must have a minimum 1-year separation before returning as a travelers
• Candidates with more than one DUI are not eligible for consideration
• Start date may be delayed up to 8 weeks if Washington license is still in process at time of submission
• RTO must be disclosed and approved prior to contract signing, with limited days available depending on offer type
