Our core competency as a business is local manufacturing of custom products for the home, including: artwork, interior furniture, home decor, gifts & souvenirs. We make all the products in our factory on the west side of Oahu in Kapolei and we have various retail locations on Oahu, Maui and the Big Island. We measure our success as an organization by our average hourly wage and are an employee-run business, so the profits gets shared with our people. We are currently looking for a full-time or part-time positive, driven, up-beat Sales Associate to be a an Aloha ambassador to our guests. This person would share our local manufacturing company story & brand with guests, provide excellent customer service, and sell our fun, unique and Hawaii-made souvenirs to visitors. Pay range is between $19-22/h (this includes a base pay plus commissions). Full-time employees are eligible to receive full benefits: medical insurance, 401k, paid time off (between 12-20 days/year, based on tenure) and an employee discount (25% off all sister companies). Part-time employees will receive the employee discount as a benefit.

Responsibilities:

- Sharing our story & brand with guests

- Servicing guests by providing product knowledge in an authentic, sincere way

- Keeping the store looking great at all times, cleaning as needed

- Basic cashiering, stock and inventory duties

- Hitting individual sales goals and other key metrics

Here is what we are looking for in candidates:

- Friendly, outgoing, positive attitude and must love Hawaii

- Goal-oriented, driven to grow sales

- Reliable

- Quick learner

- Computer literacy

- Experience in customer service and sales/retail, preferred

- Experience with handling cash and point of sales systems, preferred

- Inventory experience a plus

- High School Graduate or Equivalent

Schedule:

• Must be flexible- Store open 9am to 9:30pm Daily
