Join the Almost Home team as a Program Assistant and play a key role in creating a safe, fun, and welcoming afterschool experience for elementary-aged students.Every afternoon is different! You'll help welcome children as they arrive, supervise transitions between activities, support daily operations, and ensure our program runs safely and smoothly.ScheduleMonday –Friday | 2:00–6:00 PMFollows the Tarrytown & Irvington school calendarsApproximately 180 days per school yearPaid orientation, required training, and scheduled early dismissal daysWhat You'll DoWelcome children as they arrive from school buses.Supervise safe transitions between activities.Escort children throughout the building as needed.Assist with curbside dismissal and safe pick-up procedures.Prepare and distribute snack.Stock supplies and help keep program spaces organized.Support special events and daily program operations.Provide active supervision while creating a positive, inclusive environment for all children.We're Looking For Someone Who Is:Dependable, punctual, and organized.Positive, energetic, and team- oriented.Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.Passionate about working with children.A strong communicator who enjoys helping wherever needed.This is a rewarding opportunity to become an essential part of a collaborative team dedicated to creating a safe, engaging, and memorable afterschool experience for children every day.Join the Almost Home team and help make every afternoon the best part of a child's day! To apply please follow this link - click Begin New Staff Application
