Pediatrician

We are seeking a Pediatrician for a 32-day assignment in Georgia, assisting our client with their urgent care needs, particularly during the winter months, with potential for ongoing opportunities. This role involves 5-12 shifts per month, primarily during weekday evenings and weekend days. You will be responsible for managing a variety of pediatric urgent care cases, including flu, strep, COVID testing, minor suturing, and laceration repair, often utilizing onsite X-ray and lab capabilities. Practice Info Setting: Outpatient (Clinic Only) Patient Volume: Approximately 30 patients per day Staffing Mix: 2-4 other Pediatricians and 1-2 Nurse Practitioners at each location Responsibilities Provide urgent care services to pediatric patients across multiple clinic locations. Diagnose and treat common pediatric ailments such as flu, strep, and COVID-19. Perform minor procedures including suturing, laceration repair (single layer), and splinting. Utilize onsite diagnostic tools such as X-ray and moderately complex lab services. Assess and manage cases that may present as more emergent, determining the need for transfer when appropriate. Maintain readiness to cover 5-12 shifts per month, with scheduling booked 1-2 months in advance.
