Job Title

Occupational Therapist (OT) – Travel Contract

Location

Farmington, NM | Inpatient Rehabilitation

Schedule / Job Type

Contract (13 Weeks) | Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM with occasional early starts (6:00–7:00 AM) for morning ADLs; one Saturday per month required | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy services to patients within a 16-bed inpatient rehabilitation setting
• Conduct and assist with morning ADL (Activities of Daily Living) sessions, including occasional early-morning start times
• Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans to support functional recovery and independence
• Document patient progress and clinical notes using the Cerner EMR system
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary rehabilitation team to coordinate patient care

Required Qualifications

• Active Occupational Therapist (OT) license in the state of New Mexico (or eligibility to obtain)
• Minimum of 1 year of occupational therapy experience
• Proficiency with or ability to quickly learn Cerner EMR
• Ability to work an inpatient rehabilitation schedule, including one Saturday per month

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in an inpatient rehabilitation setting
• Familiarity with ADL-focused treatment approaches and functional mobility training
• Experience working within a structured, team-based rehabilitation environment
