Job Title: Nursing Shift Supervisor Department: Long Term Care Location: DeMay Living Center Hours Per Week: 40 Schedule: Eve/Night, 2p-10 and/or 10p-6a SUMMARY The Off Shift Director of Nursing is a Nursing Leader who serves as a resource for problem solving, provides clinical expertise, facilitates staff mentoring and coaching, facilitates patient flow during the off shifts (typically, evenings, nights, weekends, holidays). RESPONSIBILITIES Oversees & assures short & long term Nursing Dept. staff schedules per established guidelines. LICENSES / CERTIFICATIONS BLS - Basic Life Support - American Heart Association (AHA) RN - Registered Nurse - New York State Education Department (NYSED) PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS M - Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects; Requires frequent walking, standing or squatting. PAY RANGE $40.50 - $53.30 CITY Newark POSTAL CODE 14513 The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for a successful full time applicant. It may be modified in the future and eligible for additional pay components.
