Sr. Director, HR - Lead. Influence. Make an Impact.

Senior Director of Human Resources reporting to Finance and Corporate Strategy leadership at Thermo Fisher Scientific. This strategic HR role involves translating business priorities into talent, organizational, and workforce strategies while providing advisory support on organizational design, succession planning, transformation initiatives, and leadership development across a global, matrixed enterprise.
Responsibilities
- Serve as trusted strategic HR advisor to Finance and Corporate Strategy leaders on talent and organizational strategy
- Lead talent assessment, succession planning, and leadership development for critical roles across the enterprise
- Advise on organizational structure, design, and effectiveness to improve execution and productivity
- Guide the people and organizational aspects of transformation, restructuring, and workforce strategy initiatives
- Partner across HR functions to deliver integrated talent, culture, and organizational solutions
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree plus 10 years progressive HR leadership in global, complex organizations
- Direct experience partnering with revenue-driving leaders on transformative business initiatives
- Strong analytical skills, financial acumen, and understanding of margin and productivity drivers
- Executive presence, composure under pressure, and ability to influence across boundaries
- Structured thinking that synthesizes complexity into actionable strategies
- Ability to challenge respectfully while building trust with senior stakeholders
- Resilience and effectiveness in fast-paced, high-expectation environments
