Travel Support Coordinator - Afternoons/Evenings Part Time 12PM to 9PM

Job Description

Job Description

Benefits:

• Flexible schedule
• Opportunity for advancement
• Training & development

The hours, first, because they decide everything

This role covers an afternoon-to-evening shift — 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM, or 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM if that fits your schedule better — on-site in our Wayne office, on a set weekly schedule you commit to. Either way the shift runs into the evening, because that is when our travellers need us. Our clients are in the air and in hotels when most offices have gone home, so the evening block is the job, not an occasional ask. If those hours do not work for you, this is not the right role, and we would rather you know that now than three interviews in.

What the work actually looks like

You are on the phone with a business traveller whose flight just got cancelled. While you are talking, you are entering booking and billing details into systems that do not talk to each other, and a shared inbox is filling up behind you. Somewhere in the middle of that, a confirmation number is going to be wrong, and catching it is the difference between a solved problem and an expensive one.

That is a normal Tuesday. It is fast, it is detailed, and it is a real desk with real consequences.

You will do well here if you

• Pick up unfamiliar software quickly, and would rather click around and figure it out than wait for someone to walk you through it
• Work fast without letting accuracy slip, because speed alone does not help us
• Stay organised when three things are urgent at once, and know which one goes first
• Are comfortable on the phone with clients and vendors, including when they are frustrated
• Can commit to the same days and hours every week

What we do not require

No travel industry background, we will teach you our systems. No specific degree. No prior job with Coordinator or Administrative Assistant in the title. If you have worked a busy front desk, a bank window, a pharmacy counter, a dispatch board, a call centre, or a campus office, you already know most of what this job is.

Compensation and schedule

• $18.00 per hour to start, $20.00 per hour after 90 days
• Part-time, fixed weekly schedule
• Afternoon/evening shift — 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM or 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM — on-site in Wayne, New Jersey
