Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review monthly financial statements, account reconciliations, and journal entries
- Oversee general ledger activity and ensure accuracy across multiple entities and properties
- Analyze financial results and variances to budget; provide insights to leadership
- Manage property-level accounting using Yardi software
- Assist with audit preparation and annual reporting requirements
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow analysis
- Develop and maintain Excel-based financial reports and tracking tools
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
- 4+ years of accounting experience, ideally within real estate, property management, or construction
- Proficiency with Yardi Voyager or Yardi Breeze required
- Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, and data analysis)
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities
- CPA or progress toward CPA a plus
- Hybrid work schedule based in White Plains, NY
