Breakfast Attendant

Our busy hotel is looking for a detail-oriented person to set up and take down our breakfast buffet, ensuring that fruits, bread, cereals, and bakery items are always available. You'll also need to walk throughout the dining area, refilling coffee and beverages, and cleaning up used plates and utensils. Responsibilities

• Remove plates and dishes from tables throughout the breakfast service using appropriate techniques for removing plates, glasses, and silverware promptly
• Assist guests with any questions or concerns that they may have in a prompt and friendly manner
• Sanitize and ensure cleanliness of all buffet bar areas, including tables and chairs, and empty trash as needed
• Ensure setup is complete each morning for the breakfast buffet and fresh foods are always available during the service hours
• Wipe down service lines, beverage dispensers, and other equipment according to health and safety regulations

Qualifications

• Require Food Handlers Certificate
• Clear communication and interpersonal skills with diners and coworkers
• Proven customer service experience with a strong guest-focused mentality
• We prefer some experience working in the food service industry
• Outstanding time management and organizational skills
• Educational requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent GED certification

Compensation $15 - $16.50 hourly About Orangewood Inn & Suites KCI
