Property Accountant

Cordia Resources is seeking a detail-oriented Property Accountant to manage the general ledger and financial reporting for a portfolio of commercial real estate properties. This role plays a critical part in month-end close, financial analysis, and audit support, working closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain and oversee the general ledger for a portfolio of commercial real estate properties
- Perform month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes
- Prepare and analyze monthly variance analysis and investigate discrepancies
- Create and distribute monthly and quarterly financial reporting packages
- Prepare journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations
- Support internal and external audits by preparing schedules and responding to inquiries
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and company accounting policies
- Collaborate with property management and asset management teams on financial matters
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 3+ years of accounting experience , preferably in commercial real estate
- Proven experience in commercial property accounting
- Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting and financial reporting
- Proficiency with accounting systems and Excel
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- CPA or CPA candidate is a plus
- Experience with commercial real estate accounting software (e.g., Yardi, MRI, or similar)
